Hi, nice to meet you. My name is Caitlin and I live just outside of Chicago. If anyone who knows me reads this bio they will know who I am. So I guess then I am not a very anonymous blogger. On October 27th, 2012 I had a life changing event. I am a swimmer and on that day we had our big meet. I came home extremely tired and took a bath at my moms house. Later my mom and her boyfriend went up to Wisconsin with some of my neighbors and left my two dogs, Quigley, and Elsie, alone in our house. I went to my dads house and invited my friend over to watch movies (she is a swimmer too). (Also my younger sister was at a sleepover for the whole night) Around 10:30 pm my friend (Annamarie) my dad and I went over to my moms house, which is only a 2 minute drive to let our dogs out. My smaller dog, Quigley who was so close to my heart was acting weird and he would not go int his crate with a treat like he normally does. We found this a little strange but did not really think anything of it. Our other dog Elsie was bigger and she was hiding under the table. I did not know Elsie very well, she had moved in with us when my moms (now ex) boyfriend moved in with us. After that we left and went back to my dads house. Around 11pm Annamarie left for the night and my dad and I went to bed. Around 12 am on October 28th, I was awoken by a police officer standing in my room at my dads house with my dad sitting at the edge of my bed. I thought nothing of it, thinking it was a dream. However it was definitely not a dream. The police officer was trying to tell me to get up and so was my dad, and somewhere at some point one of the said "Caitlin you have to get up, your house burned down." Which I was greatly confused at because I was in my bed. But it was my moms house, the house with my two dogs and all of my things and my belongings and memories. And suddenly my life changed forever.

Maybe later I will write the rest of the story from that night on here, but for right now that is enough.

Currently we are living in a small rental house across the street from the burnt down house. Also there is no house there anymore as by now they have torn it down. We have designed our house and around June the re-building process will begin. I am so excited for our new home, however I am greatly depressed right now. I am on medication for it though. I also plan to start eating healthier and exercising more often to improve my health considering the fact that I am extremely depressed.

Now if you took the time to read this entire bio I hope you do know that yes, in fact, you really can tell me anything. Also yes we did in fact lose everything in our home including our two dogs.

Now as for my weight, this is only my goal because I want to be a healthy person. Not because what my body looks like is a real concern for me. I just wanted to put that in here as a disclaimer.
